Advanced Cryotherapy
What is Cryotherapy for?
Cryotherapy is a highly effective treatment for skin tags, warts, and verrucae. This non-invasive procedure involves freezing the affected area with nitrous oxide, causing the unwanted growth
to be destroyed. The freezing temperatures of cryotherapy effectively kill the abnormal cells, allowing healthy skin to regenerate in its place. This treatment is quick, relatively painless, and requires no downtime.
Cryotherapy Treatment Areas
Targeting pigment, skin tags, red spots (Cherry Angiomas), warts, verrucae.

Frequently Asked Questions
Cryotherapy involves the use of extreme cold temperatures to freeze and destroy the affected tissue. During the treatment, nitrous oxide is applied directly to the skin growth, causing it to freeze and eventually fall off. Cryotherapy is effective in removing these skin conditions because the cold temperatures destroy the cells within the growth, preventing them from regenerating. Individuals with certain medical conditions may not be eligible for this treatment. Come and have a consultation with us to determine if cryotherapy is the right option for you.
Cryotherapy is quick, relatively painless, and requires hardly any downtime. We use nitrous oxide gas to perform this treatment. The advantage of this is that no wound forms, unlike traditional liquid nitrogen.
You can expect to see visible results within a few weeks after the treatment. The skin tag or pigmented area should shrink quickly and then fall off. However, it is important to note that multiple sessions of cryotherapy may be required for complete removal, especially for larger or stubborn skin tags. Once the skin tag is treated and removed, it is unlikely to grow back in the same spot.
Little to no downtime is required. It’s a very safe treatment with a low risk of side effects.
